Nature & Landscape Photography
Summary:
Landscape photography is a type of art expression that shows space within the world. Landscape in particular means all the visible features of an area of countryside or land. Most landscape photography is vast and looks unending with a lot of expression. Landscape photography particularly captures the presence of nature but can also be focused on man-made features or objects. Each landscape photograph is usually very similar but colors are very important because that is how the unending and vast expression is really shown. I chose this specific type of art because I think the beauty of this art is incredibly interesting. Landscape photography has this sense of never ending because of the way the picture is taken and most landscape photography is taken of nature or something naturally beautiful. I find contentment in landscape photography and that is why I chose to research this specific topic. Michael Levin is one of my favorite landscape photographers. His art is chic and simple. In most of his photographs his main focus is on one thing and the rest of the picture looks endless. His vision is a gentle escape and is very pleasing to the eye. I think this art tradition is extremely important and really brings out the best in landscape photography. His work is not overly exaggerated and he leaves his work untouched and very natural looking. A great example of landscape photography are the photographers that have yet to be discovered, they put in the most effort and take natural looking photographs.

Reflection:
I have learned a lot about Nature and Landscape photography through research. I have looked into local artist and how they became a photographer. I also have looked into the important of it and why people think it is so fascinating. Before I did all of this research, I would have walked by a landscape photograph and thought nothing of it but now that I have researched it I feel that it has a meaning behind it and a lot of skill goes into it. I think that it is more than just the camera doing the job...it's what's behind the camera that makes the difference.
